Crock Pot Beef Stew-Recipe of the Month

What you need:

  • 2 pounds of beef (you can use stew meat or any cheap roast)

  • 1 onion

  • 3 celery stalks

  • 4 medium red potatoes (any potatoes will work)

  • 3 large carrots

  • 6 cloves of garlic, minced

  • 4 cups beef broth

  • 1 bay leaves

  • 1 tsp oregano

  • 3/4 tsp thyme

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp pepper

How to do it:

  1. Put the beef in the bottom of the crock pot.

  2. Cut up your veggies into bite size pieces and place on top of the beef.

  3. Add the beef broth.

  4. Add the spices.

  5. Mix them all together

  6. Cook in low for 8 to 10 hours, or high for 4 to 6 hours.

Remember, always adjust the spices to your personal taste. You can also brown the meat before cooking to give it even more flavor!
