What you need:
1 Pumpkin (I used sugar pie)
1 cup of water
What to do:
Put the trivet in the bottom of your instant pot, and add 1 cup of water
Cut you pumpkin in half (or more slices if necessary to fit in your pot) and remove seeds. The guts are easier to clean out after it is cooked but can be removed before it you prefer.
Place you pumpkin pieces in the pot on the trivet.
Secure the lid, and cook on high pressure for 18 minutes and allow to naturally release.
Allow pumpkin to cool then remove from pressure cooker.
Remove the pumpkin skin and any leftover guts.
Puree your pumpkin. I use a food processor but you can use a blender, immersion blender or even just a hand potato masher.
